Swing Patrol in the Huffington Post

Swing Patrol were extremely flattered to be featured in an article on the Huffington Post blog, written by Dr Lucy Maddox – clinical psychologist, lecturer, writer and member of our very own performance troupe,  The Dinahs. In the article “The Psychology of Dancing at Festivals”,  Lucy talks about the psychological aspect of dancing at festivals.

It’s a fascinating read and it includes a quote from our very own Laura Cupit Knight. However our favourite quote in the article is from Professor Peter Lovatt, academic psychologist from University of Hertfordshire who says

“I believe we’re born to dance. It’s something innate to all of us. When we dance it fills us with joy.”

We couldn’t agree more, Professor Lovatt!
