Scott Cupit on Roadtrip Nation

Roadtrip Nation is an Australian documentary series covering people who define their own road in life.

In this episode they interview Scott Cupit. Scott enjoyed his work as a corporate banker, but he sought an environment where he could really make a difference and express himself. While traveling in America with his brother, he literally stumbled upon swing dancing. Instantly drawn to the energy surrounding the dance—the music, the people, the steps—Scott made a New Years resolution to learn how to swing dance. Soon after, he began teaching classes and things took off from there. He started Swing Patrol, the world’s largest swing dancing school. Scott’s love for swing dancing is contagious—his classes grew from 23 people on the first night to over 200 people after eight weeks. Have a listen here!
