Originally from San Francisco, California, Katie ended up in London due to her (slightly nerdy) obsession with medieval British literature and historical museums.
Katie has loved dancing for the majority of her waking life. Beginning with ballet at the age of 4, progressing to salsa following an exchange in Spain, and now teaching Zumba to keep the curves at bay, Katie has had a wide array of influence on her dancing style. She was first introduced to swing by a group of undercover lindy hoppers at a salsa social in Leeds. Shortly after, she took her first triple steps and hasn’t looked back since.
Dancing Lindy hop non-stop since 2013, Katie has taken the London scene by storm. As a star member of the ‘Brat Pack’ troupe, she has enjoyed performing for Norma Miller and competing at the 2015 European Swing Dance Championships.
