Cat & Onyi from Swing Patrol were brilliant when they came into school. They were really flexible and listened to how I could see the afternoon working. They fitted to what we wanted really well, mixing a workshop with an element of performance from them and the children, culminating in a performance assembly for KS2. They linked really well from a text that had inspired me to ask Swing Patrol in to start with, making references to it during the workshop, making it really relevant to them. Another teacher also did further work on the musical element of the text following information given from Cat. They both had a great way with the children: enthusiasm, sense of fun, positivity and warmth. I knew they'd be brilliant technically as I had been to a dance class myself but didn't realise how great they'd be with the kids! I recommend them!
It was absolutely brilliant - everyone talking about Swing Patrol late into the night! I'm still amazed at some of the lifts - thank goodness we have high ceilings! ...in the meantime: a thousand thanks to Swing Patrol for making it such a special evening!
Thank you once again. I was so impressed by everyone! It was a great night, wonderful enjoyable evening. So many people from the company said to me that it was the best party ever. I have to say they all looked incredible, the dancing was astounding.
