Euston has an exciting new course coming up and it is all about fine tuning that most important of Lindy Hop Moves…The Swingout!

Swingouts are the bread and butter move of Lindy Hop and there are lots of different techniques and variations to make them awesome!

Join Christine and Ali for a 4-week progressive course on all things Swingout!  We will start by stripping everything back to the beginning and making sure our basic footwork is solid.  Next, we will work on the nitty gritty technique of positioning, posture and counter balance! Finally, we will add variations and styling to have you swinging out smoothly and with added flare!

“What do I need to know?”

Not essential, but it will help to have a good foundation knowledge of swingouts and you need to be comfortable and confident with your current rhythms so that we can dance in and out of swingouts.  That’s your 6-beat, 8-beat, and swingouts.

This is a 4-week progressive course in our 8.15pm Level 1.5 class at Euston each Wednesday.  We build on ideas from week to week so you do need to book in advance – we won’t be allowing drop ins for this course. We also keep a balance of leads and follows, so you may be temporarily placed on a waiting list depending on the split.

You still get a second class on the night half price, so why not come along for our Level 1 class to get warmed up? Just let the door team know if you’re doing the course when you arrive.
