Journey South and join us for a night of social dancing upstairs at the Upper Norwood Library.

This beginner friendly social will kick things off from 7.00pm with a taster class taught by our teaching team. From 8.00pm-11pm you can dance the night away to some swingin’ tunes.

What is a Swing Den?

Well, we all know what it’s like when you first venture onto the social dance floor and it can be a bit daunting to see all the experts swinging out all over the shop while you’re still finding your social feet. So we came up with the Swing Den idea, a social dance especially for beginners (though everyone is welcome) where the music is not too fast or slow, a taster lesson at the start and two teachers who will stay all night and answer your questions or to practice your moves with. Bring all your fellow beginners and non-dancing friends and come and be part of the fun at Swing Den!
