Learn to swing dance at Swing Patrol Vauxhall

Swingin’ out at St Anne and All Saints in Vauxhall! Come and join Cat and Jeff for some fun swing dance classes every Tuesday night!

7pm-8pm – Level 1 Beginners swing dance class
Level 1 is a fun and friendly class for total beginners. Meet new people, have lots of fun and learn how to dance to awesome jazz music!

Our classes are drop in which means no need to book in advance and no partner required — just come along when it suits you!

8:10pm-9:10pm – Level 1.5 Improvers class
You have learned some basic moves, but seek a deeper understanding of style and technique. This class will improve your fundamentals in swing.

9:15pm-10:15pm – Level 2.5 Intermediate + class
You’ve been dancing at least 1 year, are visiting social dances and are feeling confident in your footwork and moves so far. You want to gain skills, increase your technique, build creative move combinations and increase your musicality on the dance floor. Great for those who want more confidence before heading to advance classes, or those who want to be pushed!

Taking more than one class on the same evening? Your second (or third) class is half price — just £5!

What is Swing Dancing?

It’s a fun and exciting collection of dances from the 1920s-1940s including the Lindy hop and Charleston. Read more about it here.
