Join Anna and Chris for a full day of Blues music!

Do you love blues music? Are you interested in supporting the blues dance community through DJing? Or maybe you’d just like to take a peek to better understand what goes on behind the DJ desk and between the DJ’s ears? Then read on…

Anna and Chris will be running a DJing for blues dancing workshop on Saturday 5th September at the Castle.  The workshop will cover everything you need to know to get started DJing, including the technical stuff, the music stuff, and the professionalism stuff.  You’ll leave with all the knowledge you need to craft and play a set that will keep people on the dance floor, so that the dancers and the event organisers want you back!

After the workshop there will be a pathway to try out your DJ skills and follow up support as you take your next steps.

Suitable for brand new blues DJs or those with a little experience of blues music, DJing, or blues DJing, who’d like to deepen their knowledge and spend some time geeking out.
