Here’s the layout of our classes each week at Newington Green:
7:15pm – Total Beginners swing dancing class - £8 for the hour! You don’t need to know ANY swing dancing, and you can come whenever you like, as we teach the basics every week as well as some fun things to do with it! All welcome, come on down!
8:15pm – Level 2 Swing Class – £8, or £4 if doing more than 1 class. This level presumes understanding of the swing rhythms we teach in the Level 1 class: Side-by-side & Tandem Charleston, 6-beat and 8-beat Lindy Hop. If you are a level 2 dancer but are rusty on a rhythm, just ask us for a refresher before class :-)
9:15pm – Level 3 Swing Class – £8, or £4 if doing more than 1 class. There are no ‘technical’ prerequisites for this class other than being comfortable using all the swing rhythms and changing between them, as well as a good understanding of your basic technique. You would be social dancing regularly and be up for a challenge, to push your feet and your mind!
