Robyn Larsen

Robyn started dancing at the young age of four and since that time has enjoyed all manner of styles of dance including Ballet, Ballroom, Physical Theatre, Jazz, Musical Theatre performance and Tap. Indeed, Tap dance has been a constant in Robyn’s life and it was a helping hand in discovering Swing. Since joining Swing Patrol, Robyn has been part of some exciting projects including dancing for BBC One’s ‘Call the Midwife’ series’ 1 and 2, for ‘Dara O’Briain School of Hard Sums’, Swing dance documentary ‘East London: Uncovered’, was selected as a dancer for Hermes at the ‘Vogue Night Out’, and danced on the BBC with Eastenders for Children In Need, and ‘Count Arthur Strong’. Robyn was also involved in teaching two presenters to dance on ‘Blue Peter’.

Robyn was delighted to be asked to join this fantastic teaching team in 2012 and is proud to have current venues in WaterlooExmouth Market and Bermondsey. She is also co-runs the all-girls performance troupe ‘The Dixie Dinahs’, who placed 1st at The European Swing Dance Championships 2013, and most recently 1st place in two devisions at Savoy Cup 2017. Robyn also dances professionally with the troupe The Hotfoot Strutters, and teaches around Europe with her teaching partners Moritz Wagner and Benjamin Cook.
