4-WEEK COURSE: 60 SECOND SOLO JAZZ ROUTINE
With Michaela Delmonte
At The Claremont Project, White Lion Street, London, UK
During this course we will work on a 60 Second Solo Jazz Routine. Bringing elements from vintage clips as well as a variety of rhythms and movement it’s a great opportunity to practice your routine remembering skills as well as get more fluent in some solo steps. The routine will draw in some key ideas to help build our recall of movements in sequence and will present moments of variation to challenge us! No pressure to perform this and everyone is welcome along on the learning journey. For anyone who would like to by the end of the course – it could be fun to enter into the 60 Second Showcase category at London Throwdown!
Every week we send exclusive class notes, videos, songs and inspiration to our dedicated course participants.
Bring a spare T-shirt, it might get sweaty! Slippier shoes are best to wear, as we’ll do some twisting and sliding. We are inclusive and open as a group and always happy to offer modifications for all fitness and physical health needs, so let us know if you need support.
