Join Nick and Susie for a lesson or two in Swing Dancing. What is Swing Dancing? It’s a collection of dances from the 1920s-1940s including Lindy hop and Charleston. Read more about it here.
Level 1 – Absolute beginners class | 7pm – 8pm
These classes are for new dancers and there is no experience required. We go over the basics every week and then throw in some new moves to get you dancing in no time. This class is drop-in, so you don’t need to book in advance and you don’t need to bring a partner.
Level 2 – Intermediate class | 8.15pm – 9.15pm
You’ve been doing beginners classes solidly for months. You are very comfortable dancing 6 count and Charleston. You’ve learned an 8 count swingout, but maybe just recently and are looking to refine your basics, brush up that swingout and get some new material under your belt. You’re starting to social dance regularly (or have been for a while) and want a little more lead/follow clarity in your life!
Social Dancing | 9.15pm – 9.45pm
Grab a drink, stick around, ask us questions about your dancing, or simply have some nice social dancing with your friends – we’ll play the music!
Our class takes place at the Brady Centre, 192-196 Hanbury St. E1 5HU. Check out the map below and to see how to get there.
