ALL SOLO COURSES CURRENTLY SUSPENDED
Please check back for updates
We run short solo courses all year round, from 3-week to 6-week long blocks working on different solo jazz and Charleston skills, techniques and moves! Working on your solo dancing is a great way to build your self expression, learn about the roots of the dance, enhance your partner dancing and generally have a good time with friends on the dance floor. Please note: We don’t have a drop in class as all our sessions are part of course blocks. Read more here. If you are doing both Level 1 & 2 courses for a block, you get the second course half price! Email [email protected] for the code!
We will always start at the beginning, but as the class progresses we will move onto more challenging steps. Suitable for keen beginners, dancers with a little bit of swing dancing experience, and experienced dancers who are looking to hone fundamentals or look at them from a different perspective.
Level 2 – Technique, concepts and tools to enhance your solo dancing | 8.30pm – 9.30pm
Usually we will be working with tools for improvisation, technical exercises and new ideas for solo dance.
Attendance of class 1 or prior knowledge of authentic jazz/Charleston movement recommended.
Our courses usually take place at the Claremont Project – check out the map below and to see how to get there.
- 1 Level 1: 7:30
- 2 Level 2: 8:30
- £40 (£24 student rate) for a 4-week course or £50 (£30 student rate) for a 5-week course
If you register for a Level 1 AND a Level 2 course at the same time your Level 2 course will be half price!
This venue is not accessible to wheelchair users as we are up a flight of stairs.
