Welcome to Swing Patrol Soho
Summer break! We’re taking a break for summer. Class is back on Thursday 7th September. See you then!
A big hello from Serena and Rory!
Every week we run fun, friendly swing classes in the Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, drop by and have a fun evening with us!
7pm: Level 1 – Beginners swing dance class
Absolute beginner, no experience is required as we repeat the basics every week! Also, no need to bring a partner or book in advance. Just turn up whenever suits you, but be ready to have some fun!
8pm: Alternating Level 1.5 and Level 2
After our Level 1 class, we alternate each week between a Level 1.5 class and a Level 2 class (please see the class plan). The Level 1.5 is suitable for new dancers who went to the Level 1 class. We’ll build on what you’ve learnt, with more moves and more social dancing practice.
The level 2 class if for people that have been going to classes for several months, are very familiar with six beat, eight beat and charleston footwork patterns and regularly go social dancing. We focus on expanding your movement vocabulary, musicality, and improving technique.
Taking more than one class on the same evening? Your second class is half price — just £5!
