Find out how to redeem your Groupon voucher

If you have a query relating to our Groupon deal, please email info@swingpatrol.co.uk

How to redeem your Groupon voucher?

Once you have received your Groupon voucher by email, please forward the PDF voucher to Fiona at info@swingpatrol.co.uk.

Fiona will redeem your voucher and help you arrange collection of your card from one of our classes. You will need to let her know which class you wish to attend on which date. Check our Timetable for class locations and days.

You cannot collect your class card without first redeeming your voucher using the Voucher Code and the Security Code.

You do not need to attend class on the night you collect your card, so you can collect it before or after class. However, it does need to be collected before 28th April.

Processing time

The actual verificiation process is quite quick if you send us the right information. (your voucher and the class you wish to attend/collect the card from)

However, please bear in mind that you are not the only person contacting us and we need to answer each email. We will endeavour to get back to you in the same day that you contact us.

We also suggest giving us at least 1 day notice of which class you wish to attend to collect your card.

Attending class

Your Groupon class card is valid at all beginner classes (except Dalston Passing Clouds). Normally our beginner classes are drop in classes and require no booking. However, you will need to book your FIRST class through Fiona as above. This is to arrange collection of your card.

Once you have your Groupon class card you can then use it to attend any beginner class (except Dalston Passing Clouds) at any time – no need to book. All of our beginner classes are drop in classes, rather than courses, so you do not need to take them consecutively. You can attend more than once a week, or just once a month – and at different locations. It’s up to you – whatever suits your timetable.

Your class card will be valid until 28th September 2012.

Beginner classes only

Your Groupon class card is only valid for Beginner/Level 1 classes. It is not valid for Level 1.5, Level 2 or Level 3 classes.

If you choose to attend any level class other than Beginner/Level 1 then you will be required to pay full price.

Your Groupon class card is also not valid for our weekend workshops or our social events (Swing Den, Swing Pit, Red Rhythm, NW6 Swing or Book Club Blues).

Important Notes

* Collection must take place before 28th April 2012.

* Class cards are only valid until 28th September 2012.

* All class locations and times are listed under our Class Timetable.

* Groupon class cards are not valid for Workshops or Social Dancing.

* Groupon class cards are not valid for Dalston Passing Clouds on Wednesdays.

Replacement cards

We are not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Replacement cards will incur an admin fee of £10.

Please email info@swingpatrol.co.uk to arrange a replacement card.

Thanks!

Summer Fair – Sat May 26th – Clapham

Swing Patrol session 1.30pm to 2.45pm ( with breaks. )

Want to create a swing dancing atmosphere at a fair in Clapham?

Swing Patrol have been invited to take pat but we need to know we have a team who may be happy to come along and dance. We will have anchors who will run some fun lessons for the crowd and so forth. The organisers have asked that we all dress up in swing outfits so something from the 40s era would be super.

If you can assist please email us at info@swingpatrol.co.uk Thanks so much.

Details from client:Macaulay Primary School has its summer fair on Saturday 26th May from 12 noon to 3pm. It’s on Victoria Rise, about 5 mins from Clapham Common tube. It will be held in the school playground and there will be lots of stalls with the usual things like cakes, tombola, toys. We always do a bbq and teas and we always try to have some live entertainment too. Last year we had a circus theme so we found a local party entertainer who did some fire eating and juggling for us. This year we have a London theme – some of the pupils are currently learning about WWII and they are going to perform a VE Day sing-a-long for us – and we may have found a proper Pearly King to come along too.

5 hours of great learning, including 1 hour of fun in the middle!

A fantastic Blues workshop with Kenny Nelson and Alba Mengual.

5 hours of great learning, including 1 hour of fun in the middle!

WHEN: Sunday 27th May

WHERE: venue to be confirmed

Location and times to be confirmed – but save this date!

Intermediate (Less is More): (2 hours)
We will learn how to dance like one person, no extra tension, no extra thought. Just one entity dancing on the dance floor. Once we’re comfortable in close embrace, we’ll delve into open position, experiencing counterbalance and stretch/release to harness each other’s momentum.

Dips and Tricks: (1 hour)
Put a smile on your partner’s face with dips, tricks, and dynamic movements.

Advanced (Ready, Set, Flow): (2 hours)
We will start by working in close embrace, nailing how to lead and follow intricate movements that feel flowy and bluesy. We’ll then open our toolbox and perfect certain techniques (relaxation, contraction, counterbalance, stretch) so we can open our blues dancing. Texturize your dance with flowing momentum that draws different painting patterns instead of the same one.

* Please take the time to read our cancellation policy before booking.
